How to Reset Password of WDesignKit Account?

Getting Started3 min read

What It Does

Password reset lets you replace the password on your WDesignKit account, either from the Reset Password tab while logged in, or from the login screen’s Forgot Password link when you cannot log in at all.

Why It Matters

Your WDesignKit account guards your cloud workspace, saved templates, widgets, and license, so a weak or forgotten password is not a minor inconvenience, it can block your whole team’s workflow. Having a straightforward, self-service reset means you are never stuck waiting on support just to get back into your own account.

What You Get

Two reset paths: a dedicated Reset Password tab next to Manage Profile for when you are already logged in, and a Forgot Password? link on the login screen for when you are locked out.

Benefits

  • Self-service in both directions, whether you remember your current password or not.
  • The logged-in path requires your current password, adding a real safeguard against someone changing your password from an unattended, unlocked session.
  • Works from either the WDesignKit web app or the login screen inside the WordPress plugin.

Capabilities

  • Change your password from the Reset Password tab while logged in, using your current password plus a new one.
  • Request a reset link by email from the login screen when you cannot log in at all.
  • Reset from either the web app login page or the login screen inside the WordPress plugin.

How It Works

Resetting a password only updates it on your WDesignKit cloud account, the same account used across the web app, the WordPress plugin, and the Figma plugin. The logged-in path on the Reset Password tab verifies your current password before accepting a new one. The Forgot Password path on the login screen emails a reset link to your registered address instead.

How to Use It

If you are already logged in and know your current password:

1. Click the avatar icon in the top right of the WDesignKit app, then click Manage Profile.

2. Click the Reset Password tab (next to Manage Profile and Manage Privacy).

3. Enter your Current Password, then your New Password and Confirm Password.

4. Click the Save button.

Forgot Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can still reset it without logging in.

1. Go to the login screen from either the WDesignKit web app or the plugin and click the Forgot Password? link.

2. Enter your registered email address and submit the request.

You will receive a password reset link by email, click the link to set a new password.

Use Cases

  • Updating your password periodically as routine account hygiene, using the logged-in Reset Password tab.
  • Regaining access after forgetting your password on a new device or browser, using Forgot Password.
  • Resetting a shared team account’s password after a team member leaves.

Limitations

  • The Reset Password tab requires your current password, if you do not know it you must use Forgot Password instead.
  • The reset process runs through the WDesignKit web app account system, not a separate WordPress user password.
  • The Forgot Password reset link only reaches the email address already registered on the account, there is no alternate recovery method.

Troubleshooting

  • Login screen shows “Login Failed” and the Forgot Password reset shows “Human verification failed.” Real FluentSupport ticket #20035 (Dec 2025) reported exactly this on the plugin’s login screen. Support confirmed this was a server-side issue and pushed a fix, if you hit it, retry after a few minutes and contact support if it persists.
  • Reset Password tab rejects the save. Double-check your Current Password is correct and that New Password and Confirm Password match exactly.
  • Forgot Password reset email never arrives. Check spam or promotions folders first, and confirm the email matches the address your account was registered with exactly.
