How to Build Profile on WDesignKit?

What It Does
Manage Profile lets you set your name, avatar, tagline, country, website, and social links on your WDesignKit account, so anyone who sees your uploaded templates, widgets, or snippets can see who built them.
Why It Matters
Your profile is not a private settings page, it is public-facing. It shows up wherever your public templates, widgets, or code snippets are listed on the WDesignKit marketplace, and it is the same profile the Available For Hire toggle attaches to when you enable it. A blank or half-filled profile makes your uploaded assets look anonymous, while a complete one gives potential clients and collaborators a way to identify and reach you.
What You Get
A tabbed account screen (Manage Profile, Reset Password, Manage Privacy) reached from your avatar menu. The Manage Profile tab holds your display details, avatar, a Visit Profile link to preview your public page, and a Social Profiles section for linking your other accounts.

How It Works
Manage Profile is part of your WDesignKit cloud account. Whatever you save here is stored against your account, rendered on your public profile page, and reused by the Available For Hire feature if you turn it on. Your Username is generated automatically for you (in a format like wpdk-6a8d8e9a) and cannot be changed from this screen.
How to Use It
1. Click the avatar icon in the top right of the WDesignKit app, then click Manage Profile.
2. On the Manage Profile tab, fill in your Name, Tagline, Country, Email Address, and Website URL, and upload an avatar image if you want one.
Note: Your Username is generated for you and cannot be changed from this form.
3. Scroll down to Social Profiles and add a URL for any platform you use, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Behance, Pinterest, X (Twitter), Dribbble, or Threads.
4. Click the Update Now button at the bottom to save your changes.
5. Click Visit Profile (top right of the Manage Profile tab) to see how your profile looks to other people.
Use Cases
- A freelancer filling in a tagline and social links before publishing their first template to the marketplace.
- An agency team member completing their profile so their name shows as the author on uploaded widgets.
- A designer completing their profile before turning on Available For Hire, so the toggle has a real name, avatar, and links behind it.
Limitations
- Username is generated automatically and cannot be edited from Manage Profile.
- Changes are not saved automatically, you must click Update Now.
- There is one profile per WDesignKit account, it is not per site or per workspace.
Troubleshooting

- Username field will not accept input. This is expected, Username is generated for you and cannot be edited from this form.
- Updated profile details are not showing on Visit Profile. Confirm you clicked Update Now before leaving the page, since clicking into another tab or field alone does not save your changes.
- Avatar upload does not appear to save. Re-check the image format and file size, then click Update Now again, if it still does not save contact support with a screenshot of the error.
