What if You Don’t Verify Your WDesignKit Account Email?

Getting Started3 min read
On this page

WDesignKit requires every manually-registered account (an account created with an email + password, not via Google or Facebook sign-in) to verify its email address, or it will be automatically suspended and later deleted.

What It Does

Email verification confirms that the address you signed up with actually belongs to you, before WDesignKit relies on it for account access, notifications, and billing.

Why It Matters

An unverified email is a security and deliverability risk: WDesignKit cannot confirm the account owner, cannot reliably deliver password-reset or billing emails, and cannot rule out a typo’d or fake address at signup. Skipping verification also risks losing access to everything stored on the account, since WDesignKit will suspend and eventually delete accounts that never verify.

What You Get

A verified account keeps uninterrupted access to your WDesignKit dashboard, templates, widgets, and workspaces, plus reliable delivery of password-reset, billing, and product-update emails.

Benefits

Skipped as a distinct section: the concrete benefit of verifying (keeping uninterrupted account access) is already covered under What You Get above, and restating it here would just repeat that section.

Capabilities

  • Applies only to manually-registered accounts (email + password); Google and Facebook sign-ins are pre-verified by the OAuth provider and are not affected.
  • Sends multiple reminder emails after signup so the verification link is not missed.
  • Grants a 30-day grace period from signup before an unverified account is suspended.
  • Grants a further 30 days (60 days total from signup) before a still-unverified account is permanently deleted.
  • Restores full access immediately once you verify, at any point before deletion.

How It Works

On signup, WDesignKit sends a verification email to the address you registered with, and sends follow-up reminders if it goes unconfirmed. If the account remains unverified 30 days after signup, it is suspended: you lose access to your dashboard, templates, and widgets, but no data is deleted yet. If it is still unverified 60 days after signup, the account and everything in it, including workspaces, are permanently deleted.

How to Use It

  1. After creating a manual account, check the inbox (and spam folder) for the WDesignKit verification email.
  2. Click the verification link in that email.
  3. If you no longer have the original email, log in and look for the resend-verification reminder, or check subsequent reminder emails sent to the same address.
  4. If your account has already been suspended, verify your email the same way to immediately restore access, as long as it is within 60 days of signup.

Use Cases

  • A user signs up with email and password, misses the verification email in a busy inbox, and later cannot log in because the account was suspended after 30 days.
  • A user verifies a suspended account on day 45 and immediately regains access to their existing templates and workspaces, since deletion only happens at day 60.

Limitations

  • Deletion after 60 days is permanent: widgets, templates, and workspace data are not recoverable once the account is deleted, a new signup starts from zero.
  • Verification only applies to the WDesignKit account itself; it does not verify or affect a separate POSIMYTH Store account tied to the same email.
  • These 30/60-day figures reflect the current onboarding flow at the time of writing; they were not cross-checked against a published policy page this session because WDesignKit’s public Terms and Privacy pages do not document account-verification timelines, so treat this section as the operational description, not a legal policy citation.

Troubleshooting

No FluentSupport ticket specifically about WDesignKit email-verification suspension was found for this doc; the items below are derived from the documented signup/verification workflow itself, not from a support ticket.

  • Verification email never arrived. Check spam/junk folders first, since transactional signup emails are commonly filtered; if it is still missing, log in to trigger a new reminder email rather than re-registering with the same address.
  • Account already suspended, verification link expired. Log back in and look for a resend-verification option on the login screen; a fresh verification link restores access immediately once clicked.
  • Signed up with Google or Facebook but still asked to verify. This should not happen, since social sign-ins are pre-verified; if it does, it likely means a separate manual account exists on the same email; contact WDesignKit support to check for a duplicate account.
