How to Enable Hire Me on WDesignKit Profile?

The Available For Hire toggle on your WDesignKit Manage Profile tab marks your public profile as open for work, so visitors browsing your templates or widgets know you take on projects.
Why It Matters
If you sell design or development services, a profile page that only shows your templates and widgets leaves visitors with no obvious way to know you are available. Turning on Available For Hire signals that clearly on your public profile, so interest in your work can turn into an inquiry instead of a dead end.
What You Get
An Available For Hire toggle in the top right of the Manage Profile tab. Once enabled and saved, it marks your public WDesignKit profile as open for work.

How It Works
Available For Hire is a flag on your WDesignKit cloud account, the same account your Manage Profile details live on. When enabled and saved, your public profile page reflects the flag as available for work.
How to Use It
1. Click the avatar icon in the top right of the WDesignKit app, then click Manage Profile.
2. On the Manage Profile tab, toggle Available For Hire (top right of the tab) on.
3. Click the Update Now button to save the change.
4. Click Visit Profile to confirm your public profile now shows as available for hire.
Note: This session verified the toggle and its save behaviour live. The exact wording shown on the public profile page once the toggle is on was not independently re-checked this run.
Use Cases
- A freelance designer wants their marketplace profile to double as a lead-generation page.
- An agency showcasing team widgets wants each contributor’s profile to signal their own availability.
- A creator who is fully booked temporarily turns the toggle off to stop signaling availability without deleting their profile.
Limitations
- There is a single Available For Hire toggle per account, you cannot show it on some public assets and hide it on others.
- Toggling it alone does not save the change, you still need to click Update Now.
- The toggle only appears once you have a profile, it does not exist as a standalone feature.

- Toggle reverts to off after saving. Re-enable it and click Update Now again, then refresh Visit Profile to confirm, if it keeps reverting contact support.
- Want to stop signaling availability. Go back to Manage Profile, turn Available For Hire off, then click Update Now to save.
